Penny is a 4 year old grade paint mare standing right around 15 hands. I bought her last fall and hoped to get her broke out and use as a trail horse. However, after working with her twice, I realized she was more work than I was expecting. I saw videos of her being ridden and the owner rode her when I went to get her. When I got her home and went to saddle her, I couldn’t even get near her with the saddle pad. I had to take her to the roundpen and treat her like an unbroke horse. She’s not crazy or aggressive at all, just very nervous about everything and could use a ton of desensitizing. She’s a very sweet horse otherwise. Easy to catch. Ties perfectly.
