Grade (although she has papers, I just don't have them in hand), Tennesse Walking horse Mare for sale. She is 11 years old. Great horse all around. Nothing fancy, but she is a great mover and fun to ride. She will ride in the arena or out on the trail. She crosses bridges, water, anything you can think of. Point her to it and she is happy to go. She rides alone or in a group but she does like to have at least one horse with her... otherwise she gets a little looky and is less confident. I would say she needs an intermediate rider just because she does have a long stride that can feel fast to novice riders.
Raven is a wonderful horse. I am only selling because I am having some health issues that is hindering my ability to really ride and enjoy her. I have never shown her but I have done all types of arena work with her and hauled her to KelMac tail rides. She stands quietly in cross ties, will load and unload on a trailer (both slant and straight load), is great for the Vet and farrier. She does sometimes walk away from the mounting block while mounting, but if you make her circle it a few times, then tell her to stand, she will stand for mounting without issue. She currently lives outside 24/7 and is barefoot. Honestly, she is a great horse and would be a great match for someone wanting to trail ride with friends. She is one who can be left for two weeks without being ridden and you can hop on her without her throwing any tantrums.
