FOR SALE: 1977 1/2 Dodge Charger Limited Edition project car. The "Midnight" package was a mid-year 1977 Charger that was pulled off of the assembly line and sent to Motortown Inc. for conversion. A different grille, sport mirrors, and special landau top were installed as part of the conversion. Only 3 colors were available- white, yellow, and silver. Exact production numbers are unknown, but it is estimated that approximately 2000 were made for 1977. It appears to be a one year only conversion as there are no 1978 models. This particular car is number 443 in the production sequence, and appears to have been shipped to a Kempthorn motors, based on the radiator support tag. I bought this car approximately 12 years ago in non-running condition and have had it in dry storage ever since. The engine does turn over. This is a PROJECT car. I have not driven this car at all,and therefore have no insight into its mechanical condition. I stored it in non-running condition. The car is equipped with the largest displacement engine available that year, the 400 cid. It has a TorqueFlite automatic transmission with column shift, rally wheels, factory A/C, and bucket seats with center console. The Lean Burn system has been removed, and an Edelbrock carburetor has been installed at some point. There is a video of the car below   The Charger shows 73524 on the odometer- but due to age is unknown. There is rust in the bottom of the right rear quarter panel, and in the trunk floor on the right side. The rest of the car appears solid. Please study the pictures and video carefully, as they are the best indicators of condition I can give. The car rolls freely and does stop but will need to be picked up with a trailer and winch, or rollback. Clear Iowa title in my name. Price is $2500.00 CASH only.
